Highlight:
Centro-Matic is a widely celebrated dirt-under-the-nails independent rock band. The infamous Patterson Hood of Drive by Truckers calls Centro his “favorite band that is still vital and intact.” Late, great songwriter Jason Molina (Songs: Ohia/Magnolia Electric Co.) co-released an album with frontman Will Johnson. In addition, Will plays drums in Monsters of Folk—a supergroup featuring M. Ward, Jim James, Mike Mogis, and Conor Oberst. Misra has had the honor of releasing a wide array of fine albums by Centro-matic: Dual Hawks, Fort Recovery, Triggers and Trash Heaps, Flashes and Cables, and Love You Just the Same.
