After hearing Elliott Smith and Will Oldham, Norwegian Thomas Hansen decided to try his hand at a gentle blend of independent-folk-type music. His songs saw worldwide attention, he toured extensively with of Montreal and Lambchop, and released I’m Coming Home on Misra in 2002. Sadly, Hansen was found dead in his Oslo apartment on September 5, 2007. What a light to this world.
